Karhu are a Finnish brand with a history steeped in innovation and Olympic success. They put air cushioning in a running shoe before Nike did, and are even responsible for adidas‘ Three Stripes, having sold adidas the design in the 1950s for a box of whiskey and some spare change. Concepts recognise the brand’s brilliance with this Karhu Aria 95 that they say pays homage to “green copper roofs, famed glowing granite stone, orange Finnish sunsets” as well as the famous Helsinki train station. You can find this shoe at Concepts in store and online from June 20.
